Domaine de la Robinerie, Colin Janot transcends the Saumur region

After honing his skills at Domaine Trapet in Burgundy and at Guiberteau in Saumur, Colin Janot began in 2020, alongside his work at Clos Rougeard, to develop his small estate north of Vienne, not far from Saumur.

Located on barely 2 hectares, he works with meticulous care, primarily with Chenin Blanc, as well as an old Cabernet Franc vine. With biodynamic practices, gentle vinification, and extended aging, the wines bear the hallmarks of those who have always thrilled us in the region: Stéphane Bernaudeau, Domaine Andrée...

While these wines may be relatively unknown, they are nonetheless among the finest discoveries we have made in France. A truly rare moment!
