La Mariota, a charming duo on Vingrau

This is the personal project of Cecilia and Guillermo, two Argentinians who settled in Vingrau in Roussillon in 2017.

After spending several years working in fine restaurants across Europe, they decided to switch sides and establish their own estate. They returned to their studies and trained, notably at the renowned Danjou-Bannessy estate. They then acquired some vineyards, gradually expanding their holdings to a respectable 7 hectares today.

Diverse soils (schist and limestone), diverse grape varieties (Carignan, Grenache Noir and Blanc, Muscat, Mourvèdre, Macabeu…), winemaking without additives, and long aging, particularly in bottles, to properly stabilize the wines. These are the ingredients that lead to sincere, precise wines, imbued with great freshness .

A field that is gradually establishing itself as a serious player in the sector.
