Domaine Payen, great terroirs in Anjou Noir

After honing his skills in Burgundy with Count Liger-Belair and passing through the Coulée de Serrant estate, which perhaps has the greatest terroir in the Loire, Ludovic Payen settled in Chaudefonds sur Layon where he sculpts great Chenin Blancs of Anjou Noir.

He immediately acquired around twenty hectares, offering both more approachable, spring-like wines and deeper, more intense terroir-driven wines. We therefore offer you the estate's two single- vineyard wines, exceptional wines full of brilliance, which lead us to believe that this estate is one to watch closely.
