Romain Henin, the local boy

Romain Henin , a young Champagne winemaker, has risen in just a few years to become one of the most prominent figures in the world's finest sparkling wine region.
Originally from Aÿ, in the Marne Valley , he represents the new generation of a well-established winemaking family. The family estate covers 7 hectares and is spread across several prestigious Champagne terroirs: Aÿ and Chouilly for the Grands Crus, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and Dizy for the Premiers Crus, and in the Marne Valley at Cerseuil and Troissy. This diversity of terroirs allows them to cultivate the three main Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier.
In 2021, he took over the entire estate with his brother Thomas, converting the vines to biodynamics , favouring grass cover and promoting the ecosystem by planting fruit trees in the vineyards.
The bottles, delivered drop by drop, are among the rarest and most sought-after vintages in all of Champagne .
