Etienne Seignovert , smiling face and rising figure of the Rhône vineyard, is an instinctive person and there is a form of genius in his wines.

Based in Saint-Barthélémy, in the Doux valley, this young Ardèche winemaker has been producing wines of disarming spontaneity and precision for several vintages now. His wines are among the most impactful in the Northern Rhône Valley.

Year after year, through countless encounters, one conclusion becomes clear: winemakers all do essentially the same thing: tending the vines, working the cellar... Yet their wines are all different. There's the identity of the terroir, of course, but above all, the identity of those who work it. Some estates are more technically focused, others more organic, sometimes marketing plays a role... And then there's a rarer breed: the artists . Undoubtedly, Etienne belongs to this category, an iconoclast who, to our great delight, crafts wines that leave no one indifferent.
